'LYMINGTON HARBOUR' Original edition 1 of 5 (160x65cm)

£2,500.00
Sold

This piece, one of five in a painted and screen-printed variable edition, captures the lively energy of Lymington Harbour as seen from the foredeck of the Wightlink ferry. The flow of the Lymington Channel, lined with moored boats and bright channel markers, leads the eye to the Isle of Wight in the distance.

  • Dimensions: 160 cm x 65 cm

  • Framing: Professionally framed in a solid wood white tray frame; custom framing options available.

  • Availability: Limited to 5 unique painted and screen-printed variable editions.

Each layer in this piece was meticulously created using screen-printing techniques. I began by painting the pops of colour in the foreground, the boats and channel markers, then paint on the blues for the sea and mudbanks through a screen mesh, being expression while maintaining clean, crisp tones using a technique called mono screen-printing. The sky and my hand-drawn line work are screen-printed last, adding structure and unity to the scene. Each edition is unique, varying slightly in colour, mood, state of tide and seasonal feel.

Price includes free UK delivery (select "Collect" at checkout); international delivery available on request.
