Painting and Screen print mixed media piece using pigment screen printing inks and acrylic painting onto canvas.
I created this piece through the family of screen print methods. I start by painting the foreground, footpaths, plants, greenary in many layers through the mesh of the screen which allows me to be expressive while keeping a clean crisp feel to the colour. I then screen printed the sky and my hand draw line drawing on to bring the scene and painting together.
I have created 3 original pieces in this series. This allows me to experiment with colour, colour proportion and brush strokes so that I can capture the scene in different seasons, moods and weather.
Shipping is available and will be invoiced separately.
