This collection sits at the heart of my work, where my journey as an artist truly began - capturing the beauty of our British coastline. As a keen sailor, I’m inspired by the energy and movement of seascapes, especially the excitement of racing in the Solent, as well as the peaceful beauty of harbours with tides that ebb and flow, constantly reshaping the scene. The sea continues to inspire and energize my work, and I’m thrilled to have more exciting seascapes in progress for 2025.
Inspired by those quiet moments at low tide.

A small collection celebrating some of my favourite places in Richmond, South London, My go-to spots to pause, feel inspired, and spend time in nature. These paintings capture the moments that make city life feel calmer, morning light over the river, peaceful walks through the park or morning laps and the quiet beauty of changing seasons.

Meet The Artist.
Hi, I’m Alex. I’ve always been creative for as long as I can remember, and having grown up on the coast my happiest place is by the sea - sailing, exploring, swimming, you name it.
I first fell in love with screen printing at university while training as a print designer, and over time it’s become the foundation of my work. Combining my love of the coast with the process of printmaking, I began creating seascapes that blend layers of screen print and paint to capture light, movement, and the feeling of being close to nature.
My work is always evolving and more recently to include landscapes and garden scenes too, but that same sense of rhythm and flow runs through it all. Painting has been my focus for many years now, and I still get that excited buzz when a piece just flows, when colour, memory, and energy all come together on the canvas.
